eCourtDate is proud to collaborate with the National Association of Pretrial Services Agencies (NAPSA) to develop new Pretrial Information Systems Standards. These upcoming standards will help pretrial agencies evaluate and select technology solutions that align with best practices in data management, reporting, integrations, and usability.

A professional blue graphic with the eCourtDate logo in the lower right corner. The image features a centered italicized quote that reads: “When best practices and operational standards are embedded into the software used daily by agencies, it enhances fairness, efficiency, and trust across the justice system.” Subtle background elements include abstract scales of justice and digital connection lines, symbolizing technology and justice.

We know that practitioners often become frustrated when software controls the process instead of the process guiding the software. This initiative by NAPSA demonstrates genuine leadership and vision. As technology continues to advance, particularly with the growth of artificial intelligence, NAPSA has the opportunity to shape the nation's pretrial systems.

When best practices and operational standards are embedded into the software used daily by agencies, it enhances fairness, efficiency, and trust across the justice system.

eCourtDate looks forward to working with NAPSA and its partners to ensure that pretrial agencies have the tools to prioritize individuals, outcomes, and justice.

The interface includes sections for entering case details, age, and criminal history factors such as prior convictions and failures to appear. On the left, a “Results” box shows scores: Failure to Appear (FTA) 3 with 81% likely to appear, New Criminal Arrest (NCA) 3 with 78% likely arrest-free, and New Violent Criminal Arrest (NVCA) marked as “No.” The design reflects how risk factors generate pretrial outcome estimates.
